That interior looks like it came out of a 25k car. Wagons are cool but I don’t get the appeal besides that.

I only accept that kind of price if the cloth is something totally absurd like lustreweave or crushed velvet.

They all have the same engine, fwiw. I’ve seen 2019 Essence models (almost fully loaded) for under $26k on Car Gurus, but I’m not sure if the dealer has a ton of fine print. You never really know...

One tricky thing about the TourX is a lot of options are standalones, even in the top trims. Panoramic sunroof...standalone. Others get NO sunroof. Bose sound system, same deal. It’s an unusually a la carte vehicle, IMO.

It really needs a rear facing third row.  That would make it an excellent choice.
